I once attended a Lightfoot concert in a packed field house. The music was first class Lightfoot, and I loved it. His behavior, however, left me not liking him as much as his music. He yelled at the audience for clapping along. Messes up the acoustics, he said. He sang one song after another without introduction, exposing no personality at all. At intermission he disappeared and came back with the kind of silly that one gets from nose candy. Fell off his piano bench, somewhat on purpose. And so forth.
