I skimmed a National Review account of the Rezko trial. The most the writer could say against Obama is that the trial shows the corrupt Chicago political machine (what a revelation!) and because Obama is from Chicago, it will hurt him.

And that's a media outlet with a reason to be gunning for Obama. All they can manage is a lame smear by indirect association.
