That makes sense. So they are allowing the dollar to become worthless as Paulson preaches his "strong dollar!" policy. What do you see as the ultimate result of this policy? Might it be "will work for food (but not dollars)"?

I think the Fed might end up with the opposite result of what it wants. As people realize the fed is allowing the dollar to become worthless, trust in anything based on the dollar will disappear. It is already happening.
