You could be right on an agreement with O'Reilly because he prides himself on being an interrogator rather than an interviewer. I mainly dislike him because he's so scripted. His interviews don't flow organically. He rushes things along so as to cover all his predetermined agenda.

I also suspect that FOX could be trying to re-position itself as a more centrist and balanced election coverage network. Their glory days of carrying the water for the GOP are over and their ratings have been slowly declining for quite awhile as the disgust with the Bushies grew.

From a business POV, the network that shocks the heck out of me is MSNBC. It could have been a home for all Dems but has chosen to represent the left wing of the party and one candidate, Obama, pretty exclusively.

It might work out but seems like a risky strategy. I keep wondering what they do if Clinton somehow managed to become POTUS.
