We were watching O'Reilly one night when he had someone from the FAA on during some airline crisis. My husband had been in different areas of the airline business for 20 years, and he had to get up and leave the room. O'Reilly was completely superficial and ignorant of the issues, and was spouting a lot of really off the wall stuff, and of course, no one could say a word because he was so SURE he was right.

That was it for us with O'Reilly. It isn't that I expect talkshows to really have full grasp of issues, but I DO expect them to understand that they don't, and LISTEN to their guests. Since then I haven't really trusted what I hear from him. You can try to be fair, and you can have common sense, but there's just no way you can understand the issues as well as those who are immersed in them as their occupation.

This whole concept of a network having an agenda and a special candidate (is that like a special friend?) is disgusting.
