TI must have gotten some w-cdma IP and protocol stack software from their Dot Wireless acquisition?

Sure they have some expertise but a working stack that Nokia is using? I dont see it. If they did, they certainly wouldnt have withdrawn from the WCDMA/HSDPA merchant chipset market.

It is a shocking failure on TI's part. They would be much better positioned for the inevitable multisourcing by Nokia and EMP if they had managed to get a merchant chip to market.
