'2% is NOT where the rates ought to be, and 4% is NOT where our CPI is. This is gonna bite us in the butt.' For sure a currency crisis is the end game to all this. Volatility in both directions on the dollar and an acceleration of the debasement of the purchasing power in what all currencies buy is a certainty.. Will Mish ever admit he was wrong in expecting deflation to come out of the housing/credit bust? It hasn't been worth debating him in over a year. The future seems even more crystal clear today<g>
