PDA and SDA are two more Brazil stocks you mentioned in your post on 1/30/08 are breaking out to new highs. They are up 26% and 29% in the last three months.

I am bullish on Brazil Ag companies but have not been able to identify any pure plays. Specifically any companies that farm and process soybeans, own or lease farm land or are a major player in exporting ag commodities.

Do any names come up on your list?

The only other food play I have on my watch list is COMP DE BEBA AM ADS (NYSE: ABV) finance.yahoo.com . It is a beverage distribution company and pays a pretty good dividend. At 28 trailing PE (17.25 forward PE) it appears to be pretty expensive at the current price.

I hate to chase these names at current levels, but maybe on any pull back you hold your nose and buy a few shares of each. Brazil should continue to grow for many years. Buffet continues to bet on the strength of the $Real vs $US even with the strong gains finance.yahoo.com
