A few hundred thousand viewers in a country of 300+ million people is a fringe audience, unless someone recently changed mathematics as I understand them. They would need to get 3 million viewers to reach 1% of the population. Would you call 1% or less a significant chunk? I don't. Which is why I find all the fuss over cable news so funny. It could vanish tomorrow and 98% or more of America wouldn't know or care.
