I knew you were going to say that.

I guess we simply disagree as to what "major combat operations" means. We currently have more troops on the ground in Iraq than we had during the actual invasion, if I'm not mistaken, and those troops have been fighting pretty much continuously for five years now. More than four thousand American fighting men and women have died in those five years. I'd call that major combat operations.
