Thanks for the heads up on the book!!! Sounds like I could learn several things from the book and it is a good read.

The real key to shorting call options is to know what is going on and how the system works.

If you lost money shorting the any options on my advice I am truly sorry. One really bad trade can wipe out several winning trades. I know this first hand and it really hurts profits.

For me the good outweighs the bad when shorting call options. When writing naked options, at least the way I do it, having about a 90% success ratio is really important.

Having a consistent method is equally important when making money with options.

Thank you for the heads up!!!

Mark

You really ought to read Taleb's books, especially "Fooled by Randomness".

I don't think I will ever sell naked calls again.

He made his money as a options trader taking positions on the rare event happening.

He is now a writer/philosopher and if I believe him, he has most of his money in T-Bills.
