I would just like to say hello to everyone. Finally decided to join although I have been following for quite some time. Just wanted to let everyone know that I just got off the phone with Cam Gardner (not sure about spelling) and he has informed me that he has completed a deal with Pan Asia Mining. I can't believe I actually got ahold of someone there but we spent close to an hour on the phone, I wish I had a note-pad. The deal is for 400,000 shares of Pan Asia(no cash). It was interesting talking to him as he is in a posiiton like many of us (loss on paper). He told me that he is down 90% of his initial investment since starting the compamy and has been averaging down when the stock was in the .38-.40 range. He has no intentions of coming out of this with a loss and is just as frustrated as everybody else.
News on the deal should be out shortly and he is in the process of looking for someone to fill the IR spot. Him and Mr. Stone have just put another $100,000 into the treasury and they hope to get things rolling. About FALC, he was extremely excited about the project. He can't figure out why the share price is where it is based on the results to date. He is looking forward to the mini-bulk samples and the drill program on the Clearwater Project for the winter of '98. He says that if the samples even show 1-1.5 Car. per ton, this will be extremely good news. Some may question this as the mines in the NWT won't even start mining until they can prove 3+ Car. per ton. He made a point about the fact that our mining costs are about 1/3 compared to thiers at about $15 per ton. He stated the value has been given at 70-100 per Car. The mine is 40 min. from a major population as well power lines run close by. With these numbers, you do the math at 100 million tons. I'm in this stock at 55 cents and don't plan on leaving. Cam was a great guy and said if you patient, this will turn around.
The JV's have spent a total of 26million on this and even more will be spent to show its potential. Once again, looking forward to hearing from all you.
