Hi Raptech,

I too have a six year old Dell computer and installed Quicken 2008. Yes, I have the screen flicker when using Q08. If you go out to Quicken's Community web site, you'll see that many people have the same problem.

I believe the flicker is cased by the video accelerator. If you go to the video setting slider and adjust it to the minimum setting it may help. A few years ago I upgraded my video card to a dual header card so I could use two monitors. A few days ago I updated the video driver, set the accelerator to minimum and reduced the flicker by about 80%.

I also installed Q08 on my notebook which has a Core 2 Dual processor and never had a flicker problem.

IMO, Intuit has blotted Quicken with so many features that it's getting to be a worthless program.

Let me know how Quicken works when you install it in you new computer.
