First of all Kenneth, Sgt. 1st Class McDowell was a career soldier. If you bother the read the obituaries he believed in what he was doing "to the bone".

Secondly it might be more appropriate that you express your mourning in a manner of respect, rather than to utilize it as an opportunity to find fault.

Here is an example of how decent people mourn and regard Sgt. 1st Class David McDowell's accomplishments.and death.

I know you won't read these condolences from around the world, but others on this thread will. You don't mourn the loss, you simply exploit it.
