Interesting. I was talking to a relative who is trying to get a job. He said employers are telling him that it is unbelievable how many people apply for available jobs. I'm thinking in part it's due to retired people not being able to live within the money they have and it is necessary to supplement it. Of course the greater part is that so many people have lost their jobs.

I talked with my daughter earlier and she had finished working at one company and since it was building related the work ran out. When she went out to find a job, she was adamant that she not drive a distance to work with the high cost of fuel. At first she didn't find work; however, holding fast to her decision she found work with an engineering company that was a short distance from where she lives and her area is in the country. That was good news.
