I guess you really don't get what I said. So let me say it again, very simply, it is NOT an "either/or" case. When you deal with the effects of global warming- drought, flooding- you can also deal with food crises. Part of the food crises we are having ARE weather driven. So, I'm not saying we deal with the man made aspects of GW (as I keep repeating) but dealing with the effects of GW (where ever they are coming from) deals with other problems as well- since they are either caused by, or entangled with, GW.

I dislike binary thinking in most instances. It rarely gives adequate answers- and most of the time when binary choices are posted on SI they are merely false dichotomies, as I think yours is.
