I think much of what's been going on is to cover up peak oil. If they don't cover it up, distract folks with other BS, panic will set in. At some point though, you can't cover it up.

I think we will see $150 by years end like Boone Pickens is calling for.

If Iran gets hit....$250? Who knows.
