How the British made young men dress well. They got a good looking footaballer and made him dress nicely and use good hair. The guys who went to football matches were all dressed like shit. By associating a footballer with nice dressing, they advertised his clothes for those guys and they started dressing nicely. Since lots of women go to matches because there are lots of young men, they started noticing the smartly dressed men, and they grabbed the attention. That forced the bad dressed guys to move up market
