I think we'd have some PR problems "giving" money to China (for subsidies) when they already have so much of "our" money already- in the form of IOU's.

Luckily China is trying to get green fast. Considering the changes they've made in just the last 20 years, I suspect they'll do a pretty good job.

So while it might be a deal, it's not a deal that will work.
