Bob; If the tipping point is near - we are going to tip. If the tipping point is not near - then the whole thing is a bunch of wild speculation. This is one of the strangest arguments I have ever heard. You could apply this thinking to every single problem. It is accepting things just as they are with no hope of ever solving a single problem in the world or in your own life. "Well I'm almost out of money or maybe the bank is saying I'm almost out of money". In either case why try to do something about it? steve
