I'm waiting on you to illuminate me. Nothing you posted suggests waterboarding (which isn't even consistently considered as torture) is against the law.

At any rate, in the three times the CIA has applied it, it was tremendously effective, and no unbiased, rational person would oppose the technique under extreme circumstances.
