He has made statements about a tipping point. You seem to be saying that since Al Gore has said this or that, the entire discussion now has to center on his particular statements? So if Al Gore is wrong, then the entire community of people who are concerned about GW is wrong. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you. I'm sure that's not what you mean to say. It seems to me that there are enough unknowns in the equation to make it clear that no matter what Al Gore, or any other individual, says, we really don't know when that train may be leaving. So rather than assuming it's already too late to do anything useful, it probably makes more sense to try to do what we can. - Allen
