"in the event of a Taiwan confrontation". Will never happen. They just elected the "insider" to hand over Taiwan, piece by piece. The Taiwanese didn't know what they got themselves into. Game over, 228 history will repeat, the infamous day that the "China Nationalist part, 'kwu? Ming Dong' wiped out the taiwanese leaders (elites), pretty much a 'strategic genocide' (killed the brain and the rest of the body will die).
