This chart says it all about secular trends. Denomination
is moot. Feds can manipulate that. Either way, the DOW
goes down, or the Fed dilutes the currency and gold
goes to infinity, or both. The same goes for the bond market.
FWIW, it appears the level of the stock market is extremely
important to the Bush administration - they won't allow it
to go down. Thus, the dollar goes down and you get the other
side of the secular trend. Very simple. The trend is not done
yet. It will be done with DOW/Gold ratio in low single digits.
