No, they can dilute the dollar to infinity if they really
want to. That's what the "monetary policy" and "fiat currency"
is about. Even housing prices will go up. Personally, I think
that's what they are really after - stabilizing the housing
market.

How? Simple. Federal subprime mortgages backed by the printing
press. It's happening now. Can't allow trillion dollar
defaults. Problem solved -g-

Bernanke wrote about the tool he has to fight deflation.
He is fighting deflation. Question: what kind of deflation
is he fighting? Answer: Asset price deflation.

Where will oil and gold go? Don't ask.
