I was surprised that Novell picked now to pay back some of it's dept. Any ideas why now? >>> Form 8-K for NOVELL INC 30-Apr-2008 Other Events Item 8.01 Other Events. As of April 29, 2008, the Company had used $115.6 million of cash to repurchase a portion of its outstanding 0.50% senior convertible debentures due 2024 (the "Debentures"). The Company is authorized by its Board of Directors to repurchase, from time to time, up to $600 million of the Debentures in such quantities, at such prices, and in such manner as may be directed by the Company's management.
