Ted, > And yet there is so few black engineers. How do you explain that?

Part of the reason is below ...

There is no sense continuing this conversation with you because you all have discounted the impact of 150 years of slavery and 100 years of discrimination on the black community.

This is the excuse you feed yourself to assuage your self-loathing.

This is the excuse you feed black people when you advocate programs that have arguably kept them in poverty and kept them from believing in themselves.

This is the excuse you feed Asians as you advocate affirmative action that has done nothing for Asians except pit them against one another.

How many black engineering students have you tutored? How many black students have you mentored? How many have you convinced that the way to success isn't necessarily via the NBA or via rap music, but by becoming doctors, lawyers, and engineers?

You are correct in saying that there is no sense continuing this conversation with you. Like any other immature adult, you blame everyone else for your own faults.
