All of your double talk about the computer world is crap! There are several object oriented systems tha thave been talking to all operating systems for years. These systems are used in the securities business every day.

If you actually think that standardization is of little value, try communicating without a writted standard language. Programmers, possilly like you, decided to use codes within codes by failing to standardize source code definitions and languages. Thus the cause of many of the legacy code problems beyond the Y2K problem. It would be difficu lt to carry on a conversation in several different languages at the same time. For example if I used english, spanish, french and mandrin in this messege, you might not be able to understand the messege. That is exactly what happen in legacy source code programs.

The federal government has been working toward mandating standards in all government computer systems. Perhaps you should contact ANSI (American National Standards Institute) to get the real story as to why standardization is so vital to the future to electronic communication and commerce.

My take on you is that you are a rumor munger. By the way, your ISP is IBM, do you work for IBM? Does IBM pay you to make these statements about various companies?
