You are correct in saying that there is no sense continuing this conversation with you. Like any other immature adult, you blame everyone else for your own faults.

Before kids can have a reasonably successful academic life and pick a career whether it be an NBA star or an engineer, they have to have a reasonably stable home life. It really helps if there are two parents in their lives, separated or divorced, but in their lives. Its esp. beneficial if the parents are not addicts and lead relatively stable lives. Finally, its important that parents model their own careers for their kids.

Now in the black community, there is a high level of instability within family life.......frequently the father is completely absent. There is a high level of addiction to some substance. Obesity and diabetes are both very prevalent. And education has not played a strong role in family life.

Where I am teaching, white or black or brown, the most successful students are usually the ones who have the strong backing of their parents and a big involvement in their education.

So what's the problem, ten? Is there a connection between 150 years of slavery followed by 100 years of racial discrimination, or is there something wrong with the black DNA? You tell me, ten, since I am simply a weak liberal and you are a powerful, all knowing conservative.
