Max, Hello!! $1000 - $1500 pc IS THE HIGH END system. Are you guys mad scientists or what? BTW, where is Santa Rosa? Get on the NET and FOUND values? Are you guys really using your PCs or just showing off those "intel inside, P-II, 233 MHZ labels" ? Intel can drop $100/month for the pentium chips for the next 2 months before the Xmas and still make loads of money.
