So if McSame is NOT running to give us a third term of Bush, what is it that Bush is currently doing that you don't like and which you think McSame will do differently and better?

If you could bother yourself to look at McCain's actual record, you would see a long list of issues on which he's been a thorn the Bush administration's side, and most of the arrows hitting his back have come from the Rep side of the aisle. Just off the top of my head:

Bush tax cuts: voted against them
McCain-Feingold: campaign finance reform, which may cripple his campaign - but not Obama's! opposed Bush administration
McCain-Kennedy: immigration reform with big amnesty package. Way beyond what Bush proposed.
Gang of 14: 7 dem and 7 rep senators made a compromise on judicial nominations that pleased the Dems but had the right howling in outrage. Opposed Bush administration
ANWR: voted against drilling there, opposing Bush administration
McCain-Lieberman: McCain has drunk the kool-aid on global warming; opposes Bush administration
Iraq: hammered the Rumsfied strategy as "whack-a-mole" for years before the Surge
Torture: supports all the international media stance: wants to close Guantanamo

What has always been infuriating to the right is that McCain seems to go out of his way to insult those of his own party whom he disagrees with. He compared drilling in ANWR to despoiling the Grand Canyon. I'm sorry, drilling in a few square miles out of tract of frozen tundra the size of New England in the North shore of Alaska is NOT despoiling the Grand Canyon.

Anyway, there you go just for starters: 8 major issues, 3 involving major McCain-sponsored bills, in which McCain opposed and exasperated the Bush adminstration.
