Instinctively people understand that to have attended a church for 20 years, it is pretty incredible to think that-even if only a small portion of sermons were this provocative- they wouldn't have been discussed and known to the members. I agree with that. My post was narrowly focused on the math, but probably went deeper in to the math than necessary, since the point you made and I quoted above seems true. I find Wright outrageous. Obama associating with such a person is less offensive than Wright himself is, but I do see it as a negative. Not that it matters in a personal sense for me, since I wasn't going to vote for him other otherwise support him anyway.
