My theory:

Flannigan is in such a terrible margin shortfall in his portfolio, he has to begin unloading with reckless abandon. So, I believe his post should have read:

"Thanks for saint who bought my shares at 29 cents...I would not have had food on table next week if this sale did not occur. I must now drop my ask to 27 cents, as I received another margin call this morning. Look at me - 60 inch gut, a small pecker, and a dead beat."
