Nadine, the problems with Iraq was that Rummy thought it was not tough. He thought it was going to be a cakewalk, and that Iraqi oil money would pay for it to boot. Cheney was just as idiotic. The entire war was screwed up royally from the start until now, and that is largely Bush's fault. The buck stops with him. There were even a few brave souls who tried to point out some of the issues early on, and Bush fired them (so much for his claimed loyalty!). His problem is that he can't figure out which ones to fire and which ones to listen to.
