One thing about NC the wildlife are prolific. Since Dale and Karen are talking about cats, I would be afraid up here to leave an animal so small outside. I live in the woods. Last night a Raccoon was on the deck stealing the FINCH bird feeder... The night before wild turkeys ran across the road and there are fox, bear and lots of deer. When the porch light was turned on that raccoon sat right on the railing glaring and those eyes with those big circles. It was a hoot....
