John -

Just wanted to chime in to say that I sympathize with Senator Clinton and her campaign team right now. It must be terribly painful for them to have seen NC called so early, and for it to be such a decisive loss, and then to have to sit in a hotel room and watch her lead in IN dwindle as the returns come in. Even worse, the contest in Indiana still hasn't been called in her favor, even though Obama congratulated her on her "apparent" victory. And until the networks call the race, she can't come out and address her supporters.

It must be nerve wracking for her.

Now CNN is saying that the vote count does not yet include any returns from the northwestern county of Indiana, which includes Gary, has a large African American population, and is very close to Chicago. They calculate that he needs only 55% of the uncounted votes to actually win in Indiana. His percentage in places like Indianapolis has been as high as 66%, so it could happen.

This is getting exciting.

If Obama pulls off a victory in Indiana, I believe Hillary will pull out tomorrow.
