Lots of bears and wolves. Wolves would beg for sandwiches like dogs-lol. White and smalish?. Sage hens of some sort???? It all looks pretty much the same. Muskeg and small spruce, birch and alder.

Forest floors are blueberrys.

The whole show was run by pipeline "boys" from Louisiana and Mississippi. The labor unon at the time had the highest level of education of any union in the country and they/we were on the bottom of the social ladder.

It was the uneducated southern pipeliner meets the hihgly educated existential hippies. What a trip that was. I should write a book-lol.

We did a lot of sitting on buses waiting for pipeline crews to catch up, but the bossmen would not let us read. We had to stare out the window. Reading intimidated them.

They were really good at staring out the window for 12 hours a day-lol. They could have competed with buddhists-lol.
