It's going to be interesting to see how this develops over time in China. From my distant view I imagine China is in for a period of conflict like 1945-1975 in the US and Europe when the pre-war societal order quickly fell away and it took the next 30 years to work out the relationships between different parts of society - what was expected and who had to answer to who. In contrast, Russia seems destined to remain stuck in their top-down societal structure they've been stuck with since the Czar. .
