This corruption goes all the way to the bottom too. I had two people go to state government offices for two differnet reasons yesterday. What amazed me is that they both came back telling the same story. Office opened at 9. One gentleman then had three coffee breaks with 3 different people. He did nothing. The staff was fat and lazy and looked to pass off work to someone else. Eventually this person met with the person that would do something. We wasted much time there, and he simply said, he wondered what they were doing... At another department, it was the same story, except that the first coffee break did not occur until 15 minutes after they opened. The point is, our government is mismanaged. Proper systems are not in place. This is repeated across our country. OUR employees are not working in some cases, and in too many are not working diligently. There is a longer story behind the observations, I just wanted to get the point across of how frustrating it is to see an organization so poorly run, and how easily employees are stealing from us, and you can multiply that story across the departments nationwide... Can you imagine how much of our money they are stealing from us each year?
