It's about one thing, and one thing only -- "OPM."
Fund managers, managing your money, are much more
worried about underperforming their peers, than they are -
worried about losing money (even lots of it, or all of it).
That's why the NASDAQ bubble roared to 5132, and collapsed
to 1108. And that's why many financials and housing stocks
are now also trading at pennies on the dollar.
Bubbles, and misallocation of funds, are created by two things:
Too much money, and other peoples money.
And concerning Goldman's call for an Oil spike.
Kind of an Arjun "Mary Meeker" Murti spring 2006,
deja vu all over again moment there?
What happend back in the spring of 2006 when GS
called for the last spike?

People have wondered aloud why oil kept climbing against
supply builds, and a slowing global economy. Oil execs,
and CEO's repeatedly said - there was no reason for this
price climb. OPEC has said there is no demand for more oil.
Well wonder no more...

Someone is already positioned.
Someone is selling a story.
Someone has now called out the herd.
(The herd has too much money, and plenty of OPM.)
