Mary,

I will agree that the race is still close but the numbers after last night look very bleak for Clinton. There are just not enough uncommitted delegates left for Clinton to make up the number of delegates she is behind. I thought I saw more of the start of a concession speech from Clinton last night. I think she stays in the race for now and hopes for some other type of surprise to come up about Obama before the convention.

Just because Clinton won the states you mentioned doesn't mean that Obama can't win those states. We will have to see what the numbers look like once this race gets into a head to head competition between Obama and McCain. And there might be some other states that Obama can put into play that Clinton couldn't. I think this is where the reverend issue might hurt Obama more than in the dem primaries where there were many who could be convinced to give Obama a pass on this. It is one of the things that we will have to see about once Obama officially gets the nomination.
