If a Senator believes that a Supreme Court nominee does not or would not interpret the Constitution in a reasonable way, then I believe that Senator should vote against confirming him or her. We must have had a disconnect. I'm not disputing that. I would consider unreasonable to be a clear disqualification. I'm thinking Bork, for example. Sometimes the smartest kids go all weird. They don't belong on the Supreme Court.
