tradingfaster, thanks for clarifying how you got your 2 bcfd #. Does anyone have reliable, fresh data on Canadian imports, and if so, could you provide a link? Maybe with Independence Hub down we should be revising our "benchmark" to be 94 BCF injections vs. 100 BCF? Lastly, I've noticed that, contrary to historical precedent, the front-month futures contract has led (i.e., been higher than) the spot price for most of this shoulder season so far. Query whether that might be having some distortive effect on the injection numbers. In other words, query whether the extra 2 bcfd going into storage in these shoulder months is mostly just due to the fact that we have this unusual situation where the storage operators are incentivized, even in these shoulder months, to build up storage.
