I heard a radio show a couple days ago that spoke about the outsourcing of healthcare to places like India. Apparently. the medical treatment is equally good as the US in most cases. One can get a heart bypass by a top rated surgeon for around 10 to 12k.

The speaker did say that some insurance companies were actually looking at the prospects of sending people to other countries for major treatment due to the enormous costs for care here in the US.

We all could be talking about outsourced major medical someday in the future.

Here in Ca many go to Mexico for dental care already. It's a thriving industry in Mexican border towns.
