Riosun Resources Corporate Update

CALGARY, ALBERTA--The Company's President has recently returned

from a trip to Madagascar, where he met with several senior

Government officials. Pursuant to these meetings, it became

evident that Riosun would not continue with the Glamorgan

Agreement in its present state. Riosun has notified the V.S.E.

that it is withdrawing its application for approval of the

Glamorgan Agreement.

The President reviewed the status of it's Emerald property with

Mr. Laloup of Eximad, to determine precise requirements to enable

the opening of the mine. Riosun has determined that its primary

focus in the near term, will be to develop the Eximad Emerald Mine

and to bring it back into production. With this in mind, the

Company has postponed its negotiations to acquire mineral property

interests in the Peoples Republic of China, at this time.

While in Madagascar, the Company made application for a number of

mining concessions, and negotiated additional property to augment

its current Gem properties, which will be finalized during the

next 30 days.

A full report relating to the recent trip to Madagascar will be

reported to the Company's shareholders in due course.
