I had mentioned webb a long time ago but some folks think he had too much baggage. I will be honest. What makes mccain a viable alternative for me is the security issue. My kids and grandkids live and work/daycare there and i know if they dont that they have a target on their back. Thats why i voted for bush in 04. I didnt trust kerry to be tough enough and depite the bush excesses we remained safe. Webb as veep gives me backbone to avoid me going over to mccain in the end. I think the author got it right---blacks will vote 90% for obama, women will vote as they always do for democrats in similar numbers as always. White guys are the swing vote. Come and get me. (g)
