the energy density watts per KG for lead acid is 370 and for VRB only 166.

So VRB, because of weight and volume, probably not suited to auto use, at least that is what the company says, for now.

Lithium-ion comes in at 1800 W/ KG so would probably be the choice to power cars...its those total round trip cycles, where VRB wins hands down..over 10,000 , bar none, so good for my basement to nightly arbitrage the grid (solar wind etc) and power my electric car..
