Hi MJ, I know that is certainly the standard thinking. However, Obama has been attracting many old style Republicans like me. And we're voting for him despite knowing he's left of center. What is making us vote for him is his stance on foreign policy, on energy, and on fiscal policy. Anyway, I don't think he has to make such an to start spouting center right slogans like Clinton did in order to get the indy or Rep vote. I think he just needs to be himself and talk common sense. There has been such a common sense and integrity deficit in this country for 7 years, that these two attributes of his alone are the great part of his appeal that will seal the deal for him.
