Who said only purists are allowed to vote for Obama? Anyone can do whatever they want. In fact, despite all the media distraction and Hillary and McCain's ridiculous attacks, Obama has still managed to increase the base dramatically and pull in a great number of Independents and Republicans, including myself. He's the quintessential big tent candidate. Some of his supporters are less gracious than others, but nevertheless, he has an appeal that crosses all boundaries.
