Spoken like someone who has never worked with large sophisticated spreadsheets or databases.

In our financial planning organization we all have spreadsheets that bring our P200's with 64M of ram to their knees. Looking very much forward to upgrading to PII's as soon as they get to 400MHz+.

BTW, I remember hearing the exact same reasoning when we were all using 286's. Why would anyone ever need the power of a 386?? Same thing when we were using 386's. Why would anyone ever need a 486?? Etc. etc.

My question is why would any corporation buy PC's that might become totally obsolete in 12 months?? To save a few bucks now.....sounds penny wise and pound foolish to me.
